The advantages of a washable rug

We're incredibly happy and proud to finally present this collection to you. A washable rug! Imagine this: the rug you're so pleased with suddenly has a big wine stain or muddy marks that you can't easily remove. No matter how hard you scrub, vigorous rubbing doesn't always do your rug any favours. Fortunately, there are now finally washable rugs from Volero! We'd like to explain why you can benefit from the advantages of a washable rug.

#1 A washable rug in the washing machine!

We can hear you thinking. A rug that can be washed? In the washing machine? We're happy to reassure you. Yes, the rug can be washed. And yes, the rug can go in the washing machine. As long as your washing machine is big enough, of course. Does your washable rug fit in the washing machine? Wash it at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. Add a small amount of detergent to the wash. Air dry the rug. Et voilà, a clean rug that smells lovely! Good as new. Want to know exactly which steps to follow? Read here how to wash your rug in the washing machine

#2 Remove stains easily!

With a washable rug, you hardly need to worry about dirty shoes from your visitors or your child stumbling with a glass. Of course, it's annoying when a stain appears in your rug. Fortunately, with a washable rug, you have the ability to remove the stain in no time. So your children can run around on the rug like Tarzan and Jane without you constantly having to keep a watchful eye. Cheers to that!

#3 A washable rug in every room!

Unlike some other rugs, a washable rug can be used in every room indoors. Whether the rug serves as a living room rug in its first year and as a children's bedroom rug the next year. Or perhaps you can even use it in the bathroom. Small stain? No problem. Take it with you in a shower and the stain is gone. As if it was never there.

#4 It all comes down to rug material

Is it still a mystery to you how Volero's washable rugs can be washed? We're happy to explain. In the search for the right composition that makes a rug washable, the material factor comes out as the winner. Much as we'd like it to, not every material type is suitable for a washable rug. Materials like jute and wool don't really get along with (lots of) water. Fortunately, there are other materials that are well-suited to water, remarkably durable and can be manufactured into a washable rug. What about synthetic rugs like polypropylene, polyester or polyamide? The 3 perfect P's that give you the ease of being able to wash your rug. Say it yourself: that's ideal, isn't it?!
