Every day, thousands of people search for a rug. You make sure they find their way to Volero. As SEO Specialist you grow our organic visibility across five European markets and play a key role in our growth.

You set the SEO course, optimise our findability in Google and in AI tools such as ChatGPT, and turn your ideas into measurable results. Plenty of freedom, plenty of responsibility and all the room you need to develop yourself within an ambitious and informal team.

As SEO Specialist you are responsible for Volero's organic findability. Every day, thousands of people search for a rug. You make sure they find their way to us and find the content that helps them make the right choice.

Your work includes:

  • Writing and optimising SEO content for category pages, blogs and advice pages in Dutch and English;
  • Improving content based on keywords, competition and data from Ahrefs, GSC and GA4;
  • Owning the SEO KPIs and strategy, and reporting on progress to internal stakeholders;
  • Working on content clusters, internal linking, FAQs, metadata and structured data;
  • Optimising for GEO and AI search, for visibility in Google as well as tools like ChatGPT;
  • Contributing to the Shopify migration from an SEO angle: URLs, redirects, canonicals and international architecture;
  • Coordinating international content optimisations and helping build scalable processes through AI, templates and bulk edits.

What you bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in SEO, preferably within e-commerce or a comparable content-driven environment;
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO copywriting. You understand the difference between writing for people and writing for search results, and you do both;
  • You work independently with Ahrefs, Google Search Console and GA4, and know what to do with that data;
  • Excellent written Dutch and a good feel for English;
  • You actively follow developments around AI search optimisation, structured data and GEO. You do not have to be an expert yet.
