Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.

Polyester

Material

Polyester is a strong synthetic fibre that does not stretch easily, keeping this rug in shape even with daily use. The fibre repels moisture and is hypoallergenic; spills are easy to blot away with a damp cloth.

Care

Polyester, like polypropylene, is easy to keep clean: vacuum regularly and blot a spill with a damp cloth, the synthetic fibre releases dirt easily.

On colder days

Wool holds on to warmth, which you feel most on a wooden or tiled floor.

Light shedding at first

Some loose fibre can be left over from the making, and a few rounds with the vacuum removes it.

Slow to absorb moisture

2 keer een vloerkleed besteld, op verschillende momenten, helaas beide niet naar wens. Restitutie ging prima, behalve dat ondanks automatische bevestiging beide keren geen geld terug ontvangen. Erg opvallend, lijkt hun bussiness model om pas na bellen alsnog terug te storten. Komen met excuses en smoesjes dat de financiele afdeling het nog niet verwerkt heeft. 2e keer beweerden ze in eerste instantie aan de telefoon ook dat het al teruggestort was. Schandalig!

Het vloerkleed leek op de foto iets lichter, maar ik had gehoopt dat het wat donkerder zou zijn. En dat was het ook. Het kleed heeft een meer bruinachtige kleur. Ik ben er erg tevreden mee en zou het zonder aarzeling aanbevelen.
