Jute Rug - Fair Green is a handmade jute rug that brings su mmer into your home. While cozy winter evenings also have their charm, we all long for the first rays of sunshine to shine through. Because the jute is dyed, it gives your interior a trendy look. At first glance, "jute" might not meet the standard ideal. The association with a "jute sack" is quickly made. Not the most charming addition to your decor, of course. Yet, we are convinced that jute rugs provide the stability your floor needs. A jute rug brings peace and warmth to your room thanks to its natural material. To extend the life of a jute rug, we recommend using a antislip mat because jute is a delicate natural product. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any guarantees if a antislip mat is not used.

Jute

A jute rug has a rustic, natural base and muffles sound better than a hard floor, but holds onto moisture, so it is only suitable for indoor use. Because each rug is hand woven or hand braided, no two rugs are exactly alike.

Care

Vacuum on low suction and blot a spill with a dry cloth. A robot vacuum is less suitable, the brushes can get caught in the coarse fibre. Avoid soft soap, this damages the fibre, and keep the rug dry: jute is sensitive to moisture and mould. A nonslip rug underlay keeps the rug in place and extends its lifespan.

Your natural fibre rug

Vacuum on low suction

Twice a week keeps the fibres lying the way they should.

Clean dry only

Lift the spill away with a dry cloth while it is fresh.

Non-slip underlay recommended

It keeps the rug in place and takes some of the daily wear off the fibres.
