Densely Woven

Tightly woven for a rich, solid feel

The wool rug – Liora Green feels like bringing a soft dune landscape into your living room. The hand-tufted stripes in sage green, olive, and sand flow over each other in organic waves, creating a layered pattern that adds depth to the floor. The design breaks up the straight lines of your sofa and coffee table, giving your seating area a calm yet distinctive character.

The natural wool makes all the difference. This wool rug feels full and resilient under your feet, doesn’t flatten easily, and naturally provides a cozy warmth. Every day, you’ll experience why a wool carpet is so pleasant to live with. Its compact, low pile ensures a sleek surface and keeps the rug beautifully in place.

Liora Green looks best in interiors with light woods, soft fabrics, and clean lines. The organic pattern adds just the right amount of movement, while the green tones provide a stable foundation. This wool rug becomes a daily comfort zone and a modern piece that your interior can quietly grow around.

Cleaning methods

Vacuum cleaner

You can vacuum the rug with the bristles tucked in. To protect the delicate fibers, we advise against using vacuum cleaners (stick vacuums/robot vacuums), and for flat-woven rugs, to vacuum in the direction of the weave.

Wool

Sheep's wool is the basis of this rug, and owes its dirt and moisture repellent properties to lanolin, the wool's own natural grease, which also insulates against the cold and muffles sound better than a hard floor. In the first few weeks the fibre may shed slightly, a normal trait that settles down with regular vacuuming. Because wool rugs are often hand knotted or hand woven, small irregularities and slight size variations are normal.

Care

Vacuum twice a week with the brush retracted, this also reduces shedding on a new wool rug. Blot a spill immediately with a clean, slightly damp cloth without rubbing, so dirt does not work further into the fibre. Wool dries more slowly than other materials, so avoid getting it too wet. Shake the rug out outside occasionally for a deeper clean between vacuuming.

Your rug, made by hand

No two are the same

Small differences in the pattern come with handwork, and make each rug unique.

Row by row

A rug like this is built up by hand, one row at a time, by someone who has done it for years.

Made to stay

A handmade rug is built to be walked on for years, which is why these are the ones that get passed on.
